Operation AMISTAD is different. This is our annual event where we focus less on competition, more on friendship and community and say thank you to our ambassadors. This event is also open to the public.
Mission
Candidates complete the 9 +/- mile route in under 7 hours. Together or as individuals. This is NOT a race.
Weight is optional.
Fun is mandatory.
Execution
Candidates will meet at the Pinch-In Trailhead area. At 0830hrs, GBF Staff will give an event brief before releasing everyone onto the trails.
Candidates can stay together or they can go alone - the focus of this event is fun and friendship.
In the evening, we will be having an informal drinks / food at a local brewery (or a BBQ at an AirBnB) where you will all be invited to join.
