Start Location: Raffurty's Bar and Grill, Sarasota

Finish Time: Saturday 12 March 22 at 1630hrs

Finish Location: Brewster's Tavern, Sarasota

Situation

Operation SHAMROCK is back in Sarasota with more focus on fun, and less on miles. It also gets a new name - O.B.U.A. SHAMROCK! Celebrating St Patrick’s Day, this event will take place on Saturday 12th March 2022 at 1030AM.

Mission

Two missions:

1. Arrive in a St Patrick’s Day costume. Best costume wins.
2. Complete as many checkpoints as possible in the time allocated.

Execution

The start location is Raffurty's Bar and Grill where your Team Captain will be issued with a list of checkpoints that may include bars, historic locations, and donut shops! It's up to your team to decide how to attack the challenge.

The finish location is Brewster's Tavern on Main Street.

This event is about having fun, getting outside, working together, and fitness...a little bit. Expect the Unexpected.

Service Support

- Dress. All candidates should be in a St Patrick's Day costume.

- Equipment. Backpacks are not required but candidates should have a minimum of 2 litres (0.5 gallons) of water plus a fully charged mobile phone.

- Water. Water should be consumed throughout the day and will be available free at most checkpoints.

- Transport. There is parking downtown but please do not drink and drive.

Refunds - Refunds will be in the form of a GBF voucher for future events. Refunds within 30 days of an event will not be possible.
