GBF NUMBER SERIES

Six challenges. One standard.

 

The GBF Number Series is a collection of six endurance challenges.
Simple on paper. Brutal in execution.

 

Each test targets a different element:

  • pacing

  • load management

  • repeatability

  • discipline under fatigue

 

Complete them in any order.
On your own time.
On your own ground.

 

No judges. No shortcuts. No excuses.

 

THE SIX TESTS

 

MILE

One mile. Rising demand. No relief.

 

Execution

  • Complete 1 mile

  • Every minute on the minute, perform burpees

  • Minute 1: 1 burpee

  • Minute 2: 2 burpees

  • Continue until complete

  • The clock never stops

 

Load

  • CSS: No ruck

  • CS: 10 lb, removed for burpees

  • Combat: 20 lb, removed for burpees

  • Commando: 30 lb, removed for burpees

 

THREE

Three miles at a time, until failure.

 

Execution

  • Complete repeated 3 mile blocks

  • Each block must be finished within 1 hour

  • New block starts on the hour

  • Add weight after each block

  • Minimum: 5 blocks, 15 miles

 

End Condition

  • The moment you miss the hour, the event ends

 

Load

  • CSS: Start 0 lbs, +10 lbs each block

  • CS: Start 10 lbs, +10 lbs each block

  • Combat: Start 20 lbs, +10 lbs each block

  • Commando: Start 30 lbs, +10 lbs each block

 

SIX

Six miles under constant interruption.

 

Execution

  • Ruck 6 miles

  • Every 6 minutes, stop and complete:

    • 6 thrusters

    • 6 sit-ups

    • 6 push-ups

  • Intervals at 6, 12, 18… minutes

  • The cycle never stops

 

Load

  • CSS: 10 lb

  • CS: 20 lb

  • Combat: 30 lb

  • Commando: 36 lb

 

Movement Standard

  • Thrusters performed holding ruck

  • Push-ups with ruck only at Commando tier

 

EIGHT

Eight miles. Controlled pace under load.

 

Execution

  • Ruck 8 miles

  • Time limit: 2 hours

  • Maintain consistent pacing throughout

 

Load

  • CSS: 33 lbs

  • CS: 44 lbs

  • Combat: 55 lbs

  • Commando: 55 lbs

 

Standard

  • Finish inside 2 hours

  • Commando target: ~1:50–1:55

 

NINE

Nine miles. Fixed pace. No margin.

 

Execution

  • Ruck 9 miles

  • Time limit: 90 minutes

  • Maintain pace from start to finish

 

Load

  • CSS: 10 lbs

  • CS: 15 lbs

  • Combat: 20 lbs

  • Commando: 31 lbs

 

Standard

  • Missing the time = failure

 

TWELVE

Twelve miles. The final test.

 

Execution

  • Ruck 12 miles

  • Time limit: 4 hours

  • Maintain control throughout

 

Load

  • CSS: 33 lbs

  • CS: 44 lbs

  • Combat: 55 lbs

  • Commando: 80 lbs

 

Condition

  • Commando must be completed at night

 

THE STANDARD

All challenges are completed on the honor system.

  • Distance, load, and time must be met exactly

  • The clock does not stop unless stated

  • Miss the standard, it does not count

If you claim it, you earned it.

 

TIERS

Every challenge follows the same structure:

  • CSS

  • CS

  • Combat

  • Commando

Progression is earned. Not assumed.

 

RECOGNITION

Each completed challenge earns its patch.

Complete all six, and you complete the series.

 

SKULL & DAGGERS

Complete all six at Commando level.

That is the standard.

The first 20 to do it on integrity receive the Skull & Daggers patch.

Start anywhere.
