About the Event
Purchase your Operation VIRTUAL SIX event patch HERE.
To earn the patch, you must complete the following:
Backpack weight: 36 lbs (16 kg)
Distance: 6 miles
Exercises: Thrusters, Sit Ups, Push Ups
Details: You must complete a 6 mile ruck in the shortest time possible with the following rules.
1. Every 6 minutes stop and place the ruck in your hands and complete the following exercises.
Civilian Version
a) 6 Thrusters (ruck in hands)
b) 6 Sit Ups (ruck on feet)
c) 6 Push Ups (ruck on back)
Commando Version
a) 18 Thrusters (ruck in hands)
b) 12 Sit Ups (ruck on feet)
c) 6 Push Ups (ruck on back)
2. Once the exercises are complete, stand up and continue on the 6 mile route until it is complete.
NOTE: The timer does not stop while you do your exercises. If it take you 3 minutes to complete the exercises, you will only have three minutes to ruck before you must stop again.
Scaling: If this is too difficult, decrease the weight of the backpack, not the distance or number of reps.
